Interprox® cylindrical

Interprox® cylindrical

CILINDRICO
Interprox® cylindrical is designed to remove oral biofilm (bacterial plaque) that has built up in 1.3 mm* interproximal spaces and is especially recommended for the front teeth.

The shape of the brush eases perpendicular entry to the front interproximal spaces, avoiding damage to the gums. The cap attaches perfectly to the handle to lengthen it to reach even the rear of the mouth. In addition, thanks to the non-memory flexibility of the handle and neck, the brush can be adapted to each user to maintain perpendicular entry in these areas.

Interprox® cylindrical also includes a non-slip grip to ensure a better hold and control to perform precision cleaning comfortably.

The size of its head is appropriate for cleaning interproximal spaces of at least 1.3 mm (PHD=1.3)*.

The innovative manufacture with high-quality Tynex® filaments offers greater care of the gums, as its dual-colour design allows white filaments to reveal bleeding points and the black ones to reveal the presence of interdental biofilm. The stainless-steel wire is coated with Polyurethane—a plastic material—to better protect the gums, teeth and implants. The brush also has a protective cap, so it can conveniently be used away from home.

Interprox® cylindrical cleans the interproximal spaces effectively and helps prevent dental caries and periodontal disease. Interprox® cylindrical is manufactured following the recommendations of ISO 16409, the international interdental brush standard.

* PHD: Passage Hole Diameter (size of the smallest interdental space into which the interproximal brush can be inserted).

Interprox® cylindrical is indicated for the daily hygiene of 1.3 mm* interproximal spaces. It is also indicated for use in diastemata, and for wearers of orthodontics, implants and fixed prostheses.

Consult your dentist or dental hygienist to determine the size of the interproximal spaces and the brush that best suits each.

Insert the brush ensuring it moves freely so it is the filaments and not the wire that are in contact with the teeth. Move the brush in and out, without twisting it. The non-memory flexibility of the handle allows it to be bent to achieve the most suitable angle, and the cap can be attached to the handle to reach the rearmost areas.

If the wire rubs against the gums or if it kinks, use a brush with a lower PHD.
